About the event

 NOTE: This is a virtual class. The Zoom link will be sent to you before the beginning of class.

Are you interested in learning more about Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8-week program developed by Jon-Kabat-Zinn? During this orientation/ information session, you will have an opportunity to experience some of the methods and approaches used in the MBSR program, ask questions, and explore whether or not the program is right for you. The MBSR program helps with:

Daily life stress

Depression

Anxiety

Chronic pain

Emotional reactivity

Sleep disorders

ADD/ADHD

High blood pressure

Stress related disorders

MBSR Course Details:

Orientation session (mandatory) on Wednesday, April 29 (7-9 pm)

Note: If you can't make the orientation session, but you want to sign up for the class, please let me know. 

Class on Monday evenings: May 4  - June 29  (7-9 pm)

All-day retreat Sunday, June 21 (10-4)

Fee: Orientation class is free. 8-week class is by donation - please commit to attending the full 8-week course. Registration includes 8 weekly classes, all day retreat and all course materials (handouts and audio recordings).
