Service Description

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week secular program designed to teach mindfulness skills and strategies for developing compassionate awareness of the present moment. Extensive research has shown that the MBSR course can help reduce stress, pain, depression, anxiety, and chronic unhappiness. Meeting once a week for 2 hours, participants will learn through guided meditations, inquiry discussions, mindfulness exercises, home practice, and a half-day retreat. The course fee is $550 and includes access to guided meditation recordings, handouts, and the half-day retreat. Early bird: $500 After Jan 26: $550 Sliding scale rates are available.
