MBSR with Alison Restak and Kristin Conklin: Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is based on training in mindfulness being taught since 1979, now in a virtual environment for 2.5 hours a week across eight weeks and one online retreat event. The MBSR program has been shown to reduce burnout, anxiety and worry, chronic pain, depression, sleep disturbance, and more. The program involves cultivating a new relationship between you and the challenges you are experiencing. Mindfulness helps you access your inner resources, wisdom, and innate human ability to apply non-judgemental present-moment awareness to your current situation, which has been shown to impact our lives and relationships positively.
