Service Description

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an 8-week program designed to teach mindfulness skills and strategies for developing compassionate awareness of the present moment. Extensive research shows that mindfulness practice and participation in the MBSR course can help reduce stress, pain, depression, and anxiety, while improving leadership skills, performance, and overall well-being. Participants meet weekly for 2 hours and learn through guided meditations, inquiry-based discussions, mindfulness exercises, home practice, and a retreat day. The course fee is $600 (early bird $525 - by 2/28) and includes access to guided meditation recordings, handouts, and the retreat. Sliding-scale rates are available. Note: FREE MBSR Information session on 2/26 (required to enroll)
